Yin Collective; 630 pm

This 3 hour offering is a journey into deep relaxation. Through a combination of yin, Reiki, meditation, and yoga nidra your body and mind have an opportunity to restore balance and heal from the demands of urban life.

After an opening guided meditation, you’ll transition into Yin. This passive practice promotes stillness and relaxation through long static-held postures while softening the muscles. Reiki, a form of energy healing, will be given during Yin if you wish to receive. The class ends with yoga nidra (yogic sleep) where you’re brought into a space between wakefulness and sleeping. The intention of this practice is to bring the mind into deeper states of being with the benefits of relaxation and healing. In addition, yoga nidra has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.
